Normally this is 4 star to my standards but an issue I seen that wasn’t per se golf course related but they can do what they want. The front nine looked great the back nine needed a little more maintenance but they had weather issues that may cause them problems. The golf carts ran great plus they have the GPS to help you out. The pro shop had options for what you may want clubs balls outer wear. The staff was great and no issues with that. The issue I seen was with the chef of police which you may or may not run into in the parking lot he accused the driver of the cart I was in going to fast. (How fast does a cart really go). He was very confrontation to the driver of the cart and said “if you don’t like what I’m saying get off this land and never come back”. Placed on that I can’t really recommend this place due to the reservation police being rude and power hungry to be mean to non native people.

Cool setting and interesting/fun design... unfortunately the condition of the course was not good. Now, in all fairness we played off season - Early April - but having been on many courses across the country it's very evident that they need to give the superintendent a much bigger budget. That said the staff was nice.

The scenery around the course can't be matched. The fairway was in pretty rough shape, but overall, it was a good course and I'd recommend playing there.

Do not waste your Money..!!!! They took our money before they said the course was a little dry....OMG...The fairways are completely dirt...only grass spots to place your ball... and they had the gull to say they were giving us a good deal because it was dry, but it was the rates shown on the internet. Plus they would not give us a sleeve of balls with a club rental, as shown online. They are not being honest. The course should be closed until the fairways can be reseeded and recover. Sad...it was a Nice Course...

Update 3/2024 do not golf here. This place is a toilet! No food or beer. The “golf pro” was not friendly at all when we asked about getting some drinks. Bought a membership before the round and was given a refund at the end. I will never play here again. It is evident that management and Hilton do not care. I would be very disappointed if I traveled here for good golf. Greens where green were good, they have not been trimmed or rolled. Fairways are trash see pics. The course is in terrible shape... I am really appalled that they would charge $69 for 18 holes on this course. It’s my understanding that the course is coming back. Had I traveled with the hopes of playing golf here and saw it today I would have been so mad. Staff was great, super friendly and eager to assist where needed. The municipal courses in Santa Fe are much better. Update 9/2022 course is still in very poor shape. I spent $80 to loose balls just off the fairway in 6-8 foot weeds. Fairways were very patchy the front of greens were the worst with no grass growing. I would play black mesa for this price any day of the week.
